The US and Israel launching a wide scale assault on Tehran.

Millions of people to take part in a third round of the no kings protest.

If you look at the people who have had opportunities to learn how to read, write through the United States government, through USAID, they become leaders in their community.

They become much more close to what America believes in.

And it breaks my heart because it was less than 1% of the budget per year, and it was not even an issue discussed in 2024, diplomacy, defense, and development.

And they've cut off that third pillar, essentially.

The day I finally got my reduction in force notice was, the day the earthquake hit actually.

I was in Bangkok entering into the streets with thousands of other people, and I'm thinking I'm getting a text message from the embassy like, you know, what to do in an earthquake.

Instead, it was, you know, a text message, an email saying that you're no longer needed.

But it was really hard that people didn't stand up for the character of USAID when it has had strong bipartisan support, and it really still does, and that they let really kind of the best of who we are as America to be totally wiped out without review.

The stray of Hormuz has become the flashpoint.

Tonight, oil fields on fire from Iraq to Tehran.

A whole civilization will die tonight.

They are talking about Epstein today.

Israel's plans for the future of Gaza.

How are they going to survive these difficult conditions?

What I wanted to ask you about is how are we going to get back to civil dialogue?

I'm trying to fight back in a number of ways.

For example, I began an investigation of Epstein during a democratic administration because I think what we have in America today is an Epstein class.

And even though people ran and raved against those kind of elitists, you have conveniently never lost an election since Oregon implemented mail in ballot.

Term limits are really cool.

I love term limits.

I love term limits, and I also love ranked choice voting.

Both of those things would be so instrumental in helping us move out of a two party system of just Democrats and Republicans, which are the same head of the state of Israel, AIPAC sponsored money.

Would you be willing to support a constitutional amendment that would install term limits for congress?

The founding fathers had a big discussion on this issue, and they decided that the best term limit was to give the judgment to the voter.

The problem is the system in the first place.

The problem is the fact that The United States exists.

The problem is that Israel exists.

It's it's these colonial capitalist structures that oppress people.

A dozen, half a dozen people yelling, pleading to stop a genocide, and a room full of retirement age people start doing the national anthem to stop it.

The rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air.

When people talk to me about, like, the ideals of The United States, how how good it's supposed to be, what it could be, about the the revolutionary war they fought for our freedoms.

I'm like, they didn't fight for my freedoms.

They committed genocide against people and then claimed it was for my benefit.

The average age in this room not to be rude is definitely a lot higher than the people that just threw a bunch of crap.

That's what's taken over.

So what do we do about that?

Let me tell you what I did yesterday in Lakeview.

And a young woman wearing a Trump sweatshirt got up and talked about the faults in the education system.

And I thought she made some very good points, and I offered her an internship in my office on the spot.

Part of the celebration marking the nation's two hundred fiftieth anniversary.

Two hundred and fifty years is a lot longer than the life of the town of Ashland.

Everyone is just calm and relaxed, and I think they understand that this is about togetherness.

This is about us being together and just having that sense of community.

And it's just awesome to have everyone spread the love, positivity, support the town, support the local school teams, all the local programs, and it's pretty awesome to be part of.

I think it's nice to see families coming together and the community uniting together.

Oh, freedom.

Freedom.

My father, he was part of the Native American Indian movement.

So I I'm glad to be able to represent myself and my tribe and my people and be able to do that freely because he fought for that.

The greatest people in the world as far as I'm concerned.

So many different perspectives and traditions, and everybody's here, and everybody's happy.

And I think it's an opportunity to just just tune into that part.

I love America, and I'm a patriot.

We're in our adolescence as a as a country.

We're figuring it out.

I think it's gonna be okay.

Well, I think it's good to celebrate.

I think it's good to support your country even though if you might not support everything it does, but it's the best country I've ever lived in.

Dude, and if I can eat one meal a day out of my garden, I mean, that's freedom.

I love this country.

I cried this morning coming to this, thinking about all the people that are going to be out there and who care genuinely and authentically authentically about this country.

We are America.

We are America.

Stay united.

We're all Americans, but we're all patriots.

That's why we're here.

We've got too beautiful a country to let it just fall apart.

And we believe that America is a place to celebrate.

It was always, this is made possible by the American people.

I feel blessed to be alive to start, but to be part of this community.

And not only that, Lord, I pray that you would bring hope even in a hopeless time, that you would comfort our valley, that there would be a a sense of community like we may have not had lately.

Everybody comes with a heart full of love.

If anyone ever made you less capable of loving all people, that's who you have an issue with.

You can turn your rage towards whoever ever that you accept this horror, and suddenly it will be crystal clear.

I do not have all the answers.

I don't pretend to have all of them.

But what I do know is this is the way it's supposed to look.

I just want to thank all of us for just being good, just like we always have.

I just really hope people don't give up and get too discouraged.

And the way to stay hopeful is to get with like minded people.
